Important Notes for ATV Rental

1. Vehicle Inspection

• Check the overall vehicle condition: tire wear, brake performance, throttle response and steering function.
• Take photos and videos of all existing scratches, dents and damages on the vehicle before pickup to avoid disputes upon return.
• Test ride at low speed within the designated area to check for abnormal noises or oil leaks.

2. Rental Agreement Terms

• Deposit & damage compensation: Clarify the scope of compensation, deductible amount, and whether extra charges apply for worn parts such as tires.
• Overtime charges: Confirm the hourly/daily rate for late return.
• Usage restrictions: Check permitted riding areas. Note that ATVs are generally prohibited on public roads.
• Fuel policy: Confirm whether the vehicle should be returned with a full tank or fuel will be charged separately.

3. Insurance & Liability

• Confirm included insurance coverage: third-party liability insurance, vehicle damage insurance and passenger accident insurance.
• Verify the deductible you need to pay in case of an accident.
• Driver requirements: Check if only designated drivers are allowed, and any license or training certificate requirements.

4. Safety Gear

• Confirm whether safety equipment (helmet, goggles, elbow/knee pads, gloves) is provided free of charge.
• Ensure all gear is intact and fits properly.

5. Riding Rules

• No riding on public highways. Only operate the ATV within approved off-road areas.
• Passenger limit: Do not carry passengers on single-seat ATVs; follow passenger limits for two-seat models.
• Age restrictions: Minors may not be allowed to operate the vehicle alone.

6. Vehicle Return

• Return the ATV on time; late returns may incur full-day charges.
• Clean mud and dirt off the vehicle if required by the rental provider.
• Complete vehicle inspection face-to-face with the rental staff. Do not leave until no new damage is confirmed.
