Both ATV and UTV belong to off-highway all-terrain vehicles, but they have significant differences in structure, handling, safety, passenger-carrying and cargo-carrying capacity, as well as overseas market positioning. The core distinction lies in their design: an ATV is a four-wheeled motorcycle (handlebar and straddle-mounted), while a UTV is a small off-road vehicle (steering wheel and cockpit).
